Review on La Finestra - One of the best pizzas in Valencia

If you ever ask me or my friend Simón what's our favourite restaurant in Valencia, I think we would say La Finestra without a single second of doubt.

 

It has always been our place and we came here at least once every month, including our celebration for Christmas and Chinese New Year 

In La Finestra, the menu is simple.

Basically you are not sure what exactly what you are going to get, but this is part of the fun!

If you are extremely picky than this place may not be for you, but the good news is that the pizzas here are relatively small so you can order quite a few to try different flavours. You will never end up with the same pizzas in one order. 

 

The pizzas are served piping hot given the turnover is high. The crisp crust and the soft and chewy dough, together with the mellow cheese is absolutely divine. My favourite ones are zucchini & blue cheese, and chorizo & pepper. But again you don't get to choose, they never disappoint neither.

This place is heaven on earth for any cheese lover. And the prices are just unbelievable cheap for what you get!!! The burrata is utterly creamy while the hot baked provolone is simply a lava of joy in the mouth!

One huge bonus point is the wine here is very nice. Ca'ls Pins 2017 is a young organic wine produced by the a local  Valencian ecological winery Los Pinos . You can order a bottle for just 8 euros!! 

Coming to La Finestra was our monthly routine. We always know exactly what to order without having to talk about it, and we always end up eating like 5-6 pizzas, sometimes 2 bottle of wines just between the 2 of us ... 😂

 

Unfortunately we have to be apart now since Simón had to go back to Belgium. But remember, Spain will always be your 2nd home. I miss you so much my dear friend!
